Our History

Able Movers was founded in 2009 by Kenneth Brown to provide dependable moving services for individuals and businesses. From the beginning, the priorities were clear organization, careful work, and responsibility.

Key Milestones

2000–2010: The company started with a single vehicle and basic in-town moves — residential and office relocations. The main focus was punctuality, precision, and fair pricing.
2011–2014: With a growing team, services expanded to include packing and unpacking, as well as the first long-distance moves. In 2013, storage solutions were added for clients during moves or renovations.
2015–2019: The business grew steadily. A staff training system was introduced. Services for transporting large furniture, safes, and pianos were added. A climate-controlled storage facility was launched.
2020–2021: During the pandemic, Able Movers implemented safety protocols and flexible scheduling. Despite challenges, demand remained strong — especially from families relocating to other states.
2022–2024: An online estimate and booking system was launched. Insurance coverage was included for all moves. The company successfully completed over 5,000 relocations.
